So I spent my weekend in Moberly, MO visiting my grandfather in the hospital because he had his leg amputated last week. Before leaving, my CD player in my car stopped working, so I had to put a new one in. Had to spend Christmas in a hotel room eating a microwaved dinner with my parents. On the way home tonight, I spun out on the highway, slid down an embankment, rolled my Explorer four times, and landed on the bumper of the other vehicle. I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, while wearing a neckbrace and strapped to the board. I have a concussion, every part of me hurts, and i get discharged from the hospital anyway. I have no meds, because I have to get them from the pharmacy in the morning. No taxi cabs are able to take me home, and no hotels in the area have shuttles to come pick me up with. So I'm sitting here in a hospital lobby with a concussion, freezing, and alone, trying not to have a breakdown, and waiting for my parents to come get me from Moberly...meaning they're gonna drive home in the same weather, along the same roads I wrecked on, passing right by where my car is still sitting, on it's side, with the windows blown out, snow falling on my brand new CD player, my clothes, my speakers, and everything else i left in my car while trying to climb out the passenger door. I'm terrified they'll crash too, and I just don't know what to do right now. I really just want this Christmas to be over.
